A graduate of Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital. After working at Dünya Göz, Medical Park and Batıgöz, he has been seeing patients at his own private practice since 2021.

From hospital practice to private practice
“After graduating from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, I worked for many years at Dünya Göz Hospital and at the Altunizade branch of Batıgöz Health Group. Today, at my own practice, I provide diagnosis and treatment planned around the needs of each patient.”
After completing high school, Dr. Murat Ün earned his medical degree at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialty training in ophthalmology at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital.
He worked at Yaşar Okuyan SSK Hospital from 2001 to 2004, at Dünya Göz Hospital in Ataköy from 2004 to 2016, at Medical Park Hospital from 2016 to 2018 and at Batıgöz Health Group from 2018 to 2021. Since 2021 he has continued his work at his private practice on Bağdat Caddesi in Kadıköy.
His areas of practice are smart lenses (trifocal, EDOF, toric), SMILE and other laser techniques, cataract surgery, medical retina and retina surgery, keratoconus and corneal treatments, blepharoplasty, glaucoma and strabismus.
