This notice has been prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to inform you about the personal data processed through the muratun.com website and our communication channels.

What personal data do we process?

Appointment request form: Your full name, phone number, the topic you are interested in, your private health insurance details and, optionally, any message you write. The page from which you submit the form, the link or campaign that brought you to the website and the time of submission are also recorded with your request.
Phone, WhatsApp and email: The information you share when you contact us through these channels.
Use of the website: IP address, browser and device information, and usage data obtained through cookies. For details, please see our Cookie Policy.

Information you share in your message or while contacting us about your complaint or your health may qualify as special category personal data (health data). Please share on the form only the information needed to schedule your appointment.

For what purposes do we process your data?

To assess your appointment request, contact you and schedule your examination;
At your request, to confirm your private health insurance coverage with your insurance company;
To answer your questions and respond to your requests for information;
To keep the website secure and prevent misuse;
To measure use of the website and the results of our advertising;
To fulfill our obligations under the applicable legislation.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: that processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, that it is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations, and that it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Under Article 6 of the KVKK, health data is processed by persons under a duty of confidentiality for the purpose of planning medical diagnosis, treatment and care services. Information on analytics and advertising cookies is provided in the Cookie Policy.

Who may your data be transferred to?

Our service providers: The hosting provider on whose servers the website is hosted, Google Workspace, which provides our email infrastructure, and Google for analytics and advertising measurement.
Your insurance company: Only at your request, and limited to the information needed to confirm your policy coverage.
Authorized public institutions and organizations: Where required by law.

Our service providers’ servers may be located abroad; in that case, the transfer is carried out within the framework of Article 9 of the KVKK. Your data is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention period

Appointment requests are kept for as long as needed to assess the request and for the periods required by the relevant legislation; when these periods end, they are deleted, destroyed or anonymized. The retention periods of cookies are listed in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about the processing if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties, domestically or abroad, to whom your data is transferred; to request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate; to request erasure or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in the KVKK; to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred; to object to a result against you that arises from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

How to apply

You can send requests regarding your rights by email to info@muratun.com or in writing to the address above. Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature.

Security

Website traffic is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only authorized persons can access appointment requests. Reasonable technical and administrative measures are taken to keep your personal data secure.
